Moira Buick started her career in the 1980's, as a self employed bookbinder & archivist.

She trained at Camberwell College in London and has worked throughout her career for many museums, libraries and clients across the country. And has given talks on paper conservation for several lectures.

Now based at The Studio in Gloucestershire, she serves the Bristol & Gloucestershire region.
As well as rare book repairs, she also specialises in Map & Large Print restoration & conservation.
As a trained Paper Archivist she also works with other types of rare documents, parchments & leathers.

Moira is also pleased to be able to provide (visiting) 1:1 home/office tuition (see courses menu) to teach her knowledge to other lovers of the bookbinding art.
